Yunhe County in Zhejiang Province—home to Wooden Toy Family—is hailed as “China’s Wooden Toy Capital.” In 2003, the China National Light Industry Council officially conferred this title upon Yunhe. Large-scale production of wooden toys in Yunhe began in the 1970s; over the past five decades, it has evolved into a distinctive industrial cluster.
Today, Yunhe County hosts more than 1,100 wooden toy enterprises, offering products across ten major categories, over one thousand series, and tens of thousands of varieties—exported to 82 countries and regions worldwide. It stands as China’s largest production and export base for wooden toys.
